Daniel Bentley - September 25, 2019 - 1 John 4:1-6
The Bible talks about "greater grace," "greater power," "greater works," and "greater love." When something is greater than something else it means more than, bigger than, or stronger. God is all those things! The opposition we face may be great but our God is GREATER! Satan may have limited power. But God’s power is infinite. Christ in me is geater than whatever might come against me. "Greater is He…" not, "Greater is me." That’s the key. Our power supply is limited. But God is omnipotent, all powerful. As we read through the Scriptures that define who you are in Christ, what God has done and is doing in your life, how this impacts your life, remember: Greater is the One who is in you than he who is in the world!
