Ray Bentley, Acts 2:5-47

Divided tongues of fire above the followers’ heads. Speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Peter spoke before thousands at the top of his voice with authority and forcefulness! What a difference the Spirit makes! He gave four proofs of his message: 1) Jesus was a real person from Nazareth who had performed signs, wonders, and miracles. 2) The prophecies of David. 3) The witness of the disciples. Their FEAR of death was GONE, because they had actually seen Him alive! 4) The power of the Holy Spirit. The Church was unified, magnified, and multiplied. They met not only weekly but DAILY. Every DAY people were saved!
