Most of us are on social media, with mixed feelings. But one thing I do enjoy is that it brings back memories—people or times almost forgotten. You can re-live and remember that photo, or song, or story, or scent. A memory is information that is stored in our brains— and often it is important and powerful to remember—especially to recall what God has done in our lives. Let's look at:
• Why we need to remember—“For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but it is
safe.” Philippians 3:1; “So I will remind you of these things, even though you know them
and are firmly established in the truth you now have.” 2 Peter 1:12
•What it means to remember.
•How remembering impacts more than you.
•Remembering gives us an opportunity to pass faith onto next generation.
•Remembering gives opportunity for the whole earth to know God.
