Ray Bentley - February 17, 2019 - Matthew 17:22-27
When we can't understand what God is up to, we can know God still has a plan and is in control. As Jesus enters into His Last six months of ministry, He spends less time with the multitudes, and more time with the Disciples alone, preparing them. He never told them about the cross without also giving the promise of His Resurrection. We all need to "be still and know I am God" (Psalm 46:10). The word ‘still’ means to be quiet, silent, hushed or subdued. Devoid of movement, or being at rest. God will let us experience the miraculous, and give us peace and rest.
