There is no one in the Scriptures that you will relate to in life more than people like David and Peter -- men who are broken over their sins and the foiolish things they did and said. Peter's heart for Jesus teaches us how we can examine our hearts for the Lord. After three years of teaching the Apostles, how do you think Jesus felt as He watched them enter the room and pass by the water basin to avoid being the “Servant” of one another? Jesus washing the disciples feet evoked Peter's response: Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and head!"
