If God is so good, then why does life feel so unfair? One of the strangest lawsuits in U.S. court history occurred when a Nebraska Senator filed a lawsuit against God. He is not alone in asking the question, "Why would a good God allow bad things to happen in this world?" It is important to have an eternal perspective. Living with an eternal perspective is the only thing that can help us deal with tragedy and get through the loss of loved ones. Second, living for heaven serves as a constant reminder that this earth is not our home. An eternal perspective helps us say no to temptation.
